Martin Degen, Fred. Olsen Windcarrier

Martin Degen started his career in the energy sector of Siemens AG in 1996 and has been working in the offshore wind industry since 2006. After being a vital part of the establishment and growth of the offshore wind organisation in Siemens Wind Power (2006-2010) and leading GE's offshore wind activities in Norway (2010-2012), Martin has been part of Fred. Olsen’s offshore wind related activities since 2013 and is currently in the role as Commercial Manager with Fred. Olsen Windcarrier AS looking at chartering opportunities for Fred. Olsen Windcarrier’s offshore wind installation vessels.


Matthias Brück, Roxtec International AB

Matthias Brück is working in the Wind Industry since 1996 and have worked with many OEM´s, Windfarm Owners, Designers, Contractors and Subcontractors. His experience in the Wind Industry is appreciated and gives a lot of value to his Network. He works for Roxtec since 2004 in different roles and since 2015 as Segment Manager for Offshore Wind.


Srikanth Narasimalu, Energy Research Institute @ NTU, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore

Dr. Narasimalu Srikanth is the Program Director and Senior Scientist leading the offshore renewables in ERI@N (NTU). Earlier to NTU, he was the Technical director and Senior Specialist at Vestas Wind Energy Systems and has overall 28 years of industrial research & development experience.

Presently he is leading industrial research projects on offshore turbine and renewable systems development and deployment studies along with focused environmental impact and structural integrity studies specific towards tropical waters to address energy needs of Southeast Asian islandic conditons. His areas of research interest are Floating wind turbines, tidal and solar renewable systems, structural dynamics, advanced composites, additive manufacturing, artificial intelligence integrated remote asset monitoring to detect degradation under loads due to environmental loads. He leads a Joint industry program on offshore renewables comprising multinationals such as RollsRoyce, Keppel, Llyods Register, DNV, Schotel and ClassNK and other small and medium firms such as Centek, Envirotek, Oceanpixel, e.t.c. which supports doctoral level studies towards industrial research needs. He represents Singapore in the International energy agency’s Ocean energy system technology initiative. He has published in more than 150 over peer-reviewed technology journals and international conferences.


Sjoerd Peters, Groningen Seaports (Eemshaven Port)

Sjord Peters has abundant of experiences on offshore wind account management, in particular for leasing management, and client management with more than 10 years experiences. As to logistics service and matchmaking service for SMEs and talent training, he can share what Eemshaven is doing in in the Netherlands form port's point of views.

Eric Kamphues, IX WIND

Eric Kamphues – Strategy, contracts and financial

Eric is the Founder of IX and has been involved since he developed the new business at Mecal. He has a Master in Industrial management and Engineering, with specialization in law. He has worked in the wind power industry since 2002 and in offshore wind since 2006 in many different countries worldwide, with focus on Europe, Taiwan and Japan. His particular expertise relates to analyzing the business aspects of wind power. He is specialized in technical due diligence, financial models and operational strategies in on and offshore wind power.

Kelvin Wong, DBS Bank Ltd.

Kelvin is an Executive Director in the DBS Project Finance team. He has more than 18 years of experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors including more than 15 years in corporate / project financing. Kelvin has worked/led numerous deals in the renewable energy, conventional power, energy, resources and infrastructure sectors in Asia-Pacific, as an advisor and arranger. These deals included ECA and multilateral financing tranches. Kelvin has been involved in Taiwanese transactions since 2011, having financed onshore/offshore wind farms as well as advising on a solar project financing currently. He has also spoken at numerous industry seminars and forums (including World Bank-Singapore Infrastructure Finance Summit 2018 Sustainability Panel) and served as the APLMA Singapore PF committee Chairman. Prior to joining DBS, he was the Head of Specialised Finance (Asia) at Commonwealth Bank of Australia where he was responsible for starting up a business that comprises of project finance, real estate finance and acquisition cum leveraged finance. Before that Kelvin worked at Standard Chartered Bank and KPMG Corporate Finance. Kelvin started his career as a Deputy Director at the Energy Market Authority of Singapore and was responsible for framing policies and rules for a deregulated power and gas market.


Ryan Calvert, EDS, James Fisher Marine Services

Ryan Calvert is the Operations Director at EDS, has a background in Electrical Engineering and 10 years experience in the renewable industry. EDS is an offshore High Voltage Engineering company that has supported offshore wind farms across Europe by helping them get connected and stay connected to the high voltage grid. EDS has strong track record in site operations, providing clients with personnel to ensure timely energisation, condition based maintenance and fault response and repair. The company has provided turnkey solutions for sub-sea cable fault repairs on numerous export and inter-array cable faults, and currently manages a large portfolio of high voltage infrastructure. Ensuring asset integrity is at the heart of the value they bring to customers and so intelligent solutions in this area is high on the agenda as the company looks to the future.
Prior working for EDS Ryan spent 3 years working on two large Offshore Wind Farm Construction Projects Greater Gabbard and Gwynt y Mor.
Ryan Started his career working in a number of High Voltage Utility companies, where he gained many of the skills and knowledge he could apply to the new infrastructures required to connect large scale offshore wind farms to the energy grid.

Tania Moreira, DNV_GL Energy

Tania Moreira is DNV GL Renewables Certification District Manager, she has been supporting the Taiwanese Offshore Wind Market since 2011 and has relocated to Taipei to provide support to on-going projects – she is currently managing the certification of the Changhua Taipower and ChangFang and Xidao Offshore Wind Farms projects, delivering BSMI training and further develop DNV GL certification services for the Taiwanese market, previously she was responsible for the UK and Ireland markets. Tania is a Principal Structural Engineer with over 15+ years of professional experience focusing on developing new technologies and markets for onshore and offshore assets. She has lead engineering teams through several challenging major wind projects in Europe and Asia on both certification and design consultancy services.


Mikkel Winslow, Siemens Gamesa

Mikkel Winsløw works for Siemens Gamesa as the Localization Manager in Taiwan in the Strategy and Regional Development Organization and plays a leading role in the local supply chain buildup of the offshore wind industry. He is responsible of localizing SGRE´s wind turbine components by developing and executing long term solutions in close collaboration with local, regional and global suppliers as well as the government and offshore wind developers. His previous work experience includes MAN Diesel, Lloyds Register Consulting and Novozymes.

Sebastian Rothe, TÜV Rheinland

Dr. Sebastian Rothe is Manager of the German wind energy business of TÜV Rheinland. Sebastian has more than 10 years experience in the energy sector. Before joining TÜV Rheinland in 2017, he worked as Management Consultant and supported in particular European utilities as well as investors in due diligence projects and commercial evaluation of energy assets. In addition, Sebastian has published a various number of articles in that field. Sebastian studied business in Cologne, Stockholm and Prague and holds a Ph.D. in energy finance of the University of Hamburg.


Eric Lin, PwC Taiwan

Eric Hsin-Hung Lin is the lead Counsel of FS Legal and Regulatory Advisory with PwC Legal Taiwan, having over 10 years of experience as an attorney practicing in New York, Hong Kong and Taipei. Eric started his legal career with Kelley Drye & Warren and Thacher Proffitt & Wood in New York, advising clients from corporates to sovereigns on a wide range of corporate matters. He obtained an in-depth understanding of global financial institutions from working as an in-house counsel in such financial institutions, specifically HSBC and Barclays Capital, in Hong Kong. Eric holds a MBA in Finance from Yale School of Management, a JD, summa cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law, and a BA in economics and political science from University of Southern California. He is admitted as an attorney-at-law in New York and is a CFA® charterholder.


Shing-Ping Liu, PwC Taiwan

Shing-Ping Liu is a Tax Partner in PwC Taiwan. She joined PwC Taiwan tax team in 2003 and has more than 15 years of providing Taiwan tax consulting services, including corporate income tax, indirect taxes, transfer pricing, tax incentives applications and etc.

Shing-Ping was on secondment to Private Equity & M&A Tax in PwC London from 2007 to 2009 and involved in tax structuring, tax due diligence, tax modeling, funds flow and refinancing for many cross-border M&A deals.

She has various cross border inbound and outbound investment and/ or mergers and acquisitions structuring experience.

Shing-Ping has got Taiwan Certified Public Account and Certified Internal Auditor qualification.
